My grandfather lived in this house in the first place he died. So I was very familiar with the neighborhood. We travel to the 21st ward just eastbound of the Beverly neighborhood. You only lived in Beverly if you were middle class back then. But where we lived was a more or less good neighborhood. But living out there you had to get on the bus or strike a cable car to get around. You just couldnt walk to the encloses like you could when you lived in Hype Park.

In this neighborhood it is only black family living there. Some of the neighbors are friendly and slightly not to friendly. The shut up that I live on is still a exquisite quiet block but we had our moments! when things were not quiet at all. We had block club parties every pass and did activity with the early(a) kids on the block. Everyone looked out for each other back then. But I started to notice the older I got thinks started to change. There was no more bonding between neighbors anymore. I started to see group activity going on a lot in the neighborhood.
