The Internet HistoryThe original name of the Internet was the Arpanet. The internet was based on the idea that there was going to be more than one independent network, wit h the Arpanet as the ground-breaking packet switch over network. The Arpanet would in short include ground based packet radio networks, packet major planet networks, and secern networks. In this approach, the choice of any individual network engineering science was not dictated by particular network architecture but rather could be selected freely by a provider and make to work with the other networks.
